Madison Police say a group of roommates tackled a burglar that they spotted in their home, but two other suspects got away.

The seven roommates were all at a neighbor's home next door watching the Badger game.

Around 12:20 a.m. Sunday, one looked out a window and realized someone was inside their Lathrop St. home.

There were three burglars inside. One jumped off a second story balcony and another fled out a door.

The victims managed to tackle the third suspect and hold him down until police arrived.

The 15-year-old suspect had a stolen laptop in his trousers. There was also a backpack filled with the victims' electronics that never made it out of their home.

The tackled suspect was arrested for burglary.
