Man Pulls Gun During Fight at South Transfer Point

Address: 802 W. Badger Rd. (South Transfer Point)

Suspect(s): Male, black, 25-30 years old, 6'2", 195 pounds, wearing a black baseball hat, black hooded sweatshirt and faded blue jeans.

Details: A large crowd gathered Thursday afternoon to watch two teenagers as the engaged in a fistfight at the South Transfer Point, 802 W. Badger Rd.

As the young men exchanged blows, an uninvolved man pulled a handgun from his wasteland. The brawl ended and many scattered fearing shots were about to be fired. One witness thought the gunman produced the weapon as a way to put an end to the fisticuffs. He did not discharge the gun. He did not point it at anyone, and returned it to his waistband as the situation deescalated. There is an ongoing investigation.
