On March 20th at 7:38PM, the Madison Police Department responded to a report of a stabbing which occurred in the 2400 block of E. Washington Ave. When officers arrived on scene, they located a victim with an apparent stab wound to the torso. The 64 year-old Madison resident was conveyed by MFD paramedics to an area hospital for treatment. The victim is listed in stable condition.
Two suspects in connection with this stabbing have been taken into police custody. The investigation is on-going. It does not appear that this incident was a random act.

Earlier tonight police responded to reports of a stabbing on the 2400 block of East Washington Avenue. After speaking with Dane County dispatch the said it occurred at 2430 East Washington, in the parking lot of East Side Chiropractic. Dispatch also reported the man was stabbed in the stomach. Dispatch was not able to release the number of victims. However they fled the scene before police arrived.
