JANESVILLE, Wis. (AP) -- An Illinois man who was driving through Wisconsin to pick up his son from jail is accused of flipping his car in a drunken crash, injuring himself and another teenage son.

Rock County deputies responded to Center Township for a single-vehicle rollover crash Monday about 3:40 a.m. They found a badly damaged vehicle in a field.

A 37-year-old man from Orangeville, Ill., and his 13-year-old son were waiting by the side of the road. Both were taken to a hospital.

The man told investigators he'd been drinking before the crash. He says he was driving about 70 mph to pick up his oldest son, who'd just been released from jail, when he crashed after going airborne on a hill.

The man remained hospitalized Monday. The teen's injuries were considered non-life-threatening.
