Madison Police arrested a man who allegedly punched a downtown restaurant employee in the mouth.

The man was reportedly harassing customers who were dining in the outside patio of The Fountain restaurant on State Street Thursday night.

The suspect was kindly asked to leave, but refused. The worker tried to escort the man away, and that's when the suspect delivered the punch.

The victim immediately tackled the man and kept him confined with the help of another staff member until police arrived.

54-year-old Henry Wilson III was arrested for Substantial Battery and Unlawful Trespass.

The victim suffered a chipped tooth.
