A Madison mother told police she feared for her safety and her daughter's safety during a road rage incident on an I-94 on ramp.
It happened the evening of December 8th. Both the woman and a man were exiting E. Washington Ave.
The man stopped his car on the ramp, blocking the woman.
He allegedly pounded on the woman's windshield and ripped the driver's side door handle off of her SUV before getting back into his car.
The woman took down his license plate number and called police.
Officers found the 37-year-old suspect at his home and cited him for disorderly conduct and property damage.
He told police the woman cut him off and caused his car to slide sideways on the ramp, forcing him to stop.
He said he got out because he feared the woman was going to drive into him.
