Press Release from the Janesville Police:
On 02-29-12 at approximately 12:30am Janesville Police were sent to investigate a disturbance in the area of the 1800blk of Randolph Rd. Officers made contact with Jeremiah J. Dodd, a suspect in the disturbance, who was highly intoxicated. During the investigation, officers learned that prior to arriving in the 1800blk of Randolph Rd, Dodd had been involved in a hit and run accident in the 700blk of Rockport Rd in which he struck an unoccupied parked car and left the scene.
Dodd was subsequently arrested for 4th offense OWI, and two counts of Disorderly Conduct-Domestic Violence related to the disturbance on Randloph Rd.
Dodd is currently in custody at the Rock County Jail on the Domestic Violence related charges. His blood alcohol concentration was not available as of the time of this press release.
