The City of Darlington Police Department is investigating an early morning stabbing that occurred on the 100 Block of E. Louisa Street.
Officers responded at approximately 2:30 am. on Sunday. The initial investigation revealed an argument between two men resulted in one of them using a knife to stab the other one two times.
Christopher A. Reilly, age 34, of Darlington, was arrested for recklessly endangering the safety of another and remains jailed pending future court proceedings.
The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County where his wounds, which were determined to be non-life threatening, were treated. The Lafayette County Sheriff's Department assisted.
