UPDATE: Madison Police arrest man after stabbing in parking lot

UPDATED Wednesday, June 11, 2014 --- 1:55 p.m.

Madison Police have arrested a suspect in an early morning stabbing that left one person injured.

The incident happened shortly before 2:00 a.m. in the parking lot of the Home Depot on Verona Road.

Police say it involved two co-workers at the store. The victim said the suspect became angry with him for some reason and chased him across the lot. The victim fell, and tells police that is when the suspect pulled a knife and stabbed him once in the back.

The victim was treated and released.

The suspect, 24-year-old Devin Walker, was arrested for 1st degree reckless endangerment and felony bail jumping.

One person was injured after a stabbing on Madison's west side.

The stabbing happened just before 2 a.m. Wednesday morning in the 4600 block of Verona Road.

According to police, the man was stabbed in his back and was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The man accused of stabbing the victim has been arrested. Police say the men knew each other.
