According to the Madison Police Department, an argument caused a car to go airborne before crashing into a field Saturday.
According to the release, witnesses told police the car suddenly veered off the road, hit a snowbank, went airborne. The car then crashed into a field in the 3900 block of Bartillon Drive at about 4:28 p.m.
The driver, a 38-year-old Madison man, told police his passenger, Kayla D. Raines, 29, of Madison, kicked the steering wheel during an argument causing him to lose control.
Raines was arrested on suspicion of first-degree reckless endangerment.
