Pedestrian injured in hit-and-run crash in Madison

Posted Monday, June 24, 2013 --- 12:20 p.m.

Madison Police are searching for a driver in a hit-and-run crash that left a Madison man injured.

The 29-year-old pedestrian was hit by a car while walking with friends at the intersection of W. Johnson St. and N. Frances St. Saturday morning around 2:10. The driver did not stop.

Police say the man was taken to the hospital with significant injuries, but they are not life threatening.

Officers are still looking for the driver and vehicle, which may be a black Volkswagen. The car may be damaged.
