Madison Police arrested a man for his alleged fourth offense of drunken driving after he almost hit a squad car.

A Madison officer and his K9 partner were stopped and waiting to exit the W. Beltline Highway onto S. Stoughton Rd. Saturday night shortly after 8:00.

The officer saw headlights coming his way. At the last minute, the driver of the oncoming vehicle swerved to avoid a head-on collusion.

The driver, 41-year-old Christopher Huff, was pulled over and arrested.

Along with the OWI arrest he was also cited for operating while revoked.
