Police say surveillance video helped identify a burglary suspect who broke into a Madison apartment.

The burglary happened around 11:00 p.m. Saturday at an apartment in the 500 block of W. Johnson St.

The 19-year-old resident took the video from his surveillance cameras to investigating officers. It showed someone cutting a window screen to get in.

The suspect turned out to be someone the victim had previously met at a social gathering. He showed police her Facebook profile.

18-year-old Alexis Olivares was arrested Sunday for burglary. She allegedly took cash during the burglary.

Police say a 19-year-old male accomplice is still at large.
