Madison Police investigate shots fired

Madison police are investigating after reports of shots fired on the east side.

Police responded to reports of shots fired just after 12:30 a.m.Tuesday morning in the 1700 block of Fordem Avenue.

Police said multiple shell casings were found in a parking lot of an apartment complex in this block. There were no immediate reports of injury or property damage.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Madison Police Department. People with tips can remain anonymous and may could get a cash reward by contacting Madison Area Crime Stoppers at (608) 266-6014.
