It was bad enough someone stole her car, but they also let her dog loose, and now he is also missing. The 30-year old Verona woman had come downtown with her husband to meet friends Saturday night. Around 8:00 p.m., some friends headed out, and as they did, they observed the woman's 2-year old Australian lab mix running in the 500 block of E. Washington Ave. His name is Jed and he was wearing a red collar with no tags. The victim's car, a 2003 Ford Focus, had been parked in the 700 block of East Main St. She left a window cracked to provide Jed air. She also told police that the car has starting issues which required her to leave the keys in the ignition. At the time the officer filed his report, Jed was still missing and the Focus had not been found.
