How long will the Republic of Madison turn a blind eye to the increasing violent crimes committed by minorities in this city. I know this probably won't make the comment section. Madison media outlets water down information, as not to "offend" anyone. Just keep your head in the sand Madison, and you will have people afraid to go outside soon.

I believe if you have more officers in the area there will be less criminal acts although, again they tried to clean up the west side allied dr. But in reality they just bulit the low income brand new buildings and yet the crime rate is still very high over there. Its ridiculous that people are being raised like this and this is all they know and understand. Its good to be street smart but you also need to be book smart. So my point is that i dont know how much the area will change by police driving around. Sad but true

Speaking of books....you really should do your research before you state your opinion. You are very ignorant re: police and low income areas. Don't you think it begins much sooner? If you honestly think police just drive around...you are in need of help as badly as these boys.

The good (sarcasm) news is that they all have a PREVIOUS mugshot to post. Another set of upstanding citizens! You can tell summer is coming, Northside is active again.

The situation in that area is getting ridiculous. Why doesn't the MPD increase their presence in the area?

The entire town is going downhill and there doesn't seem to be any will to address this accelerating trend in any serious manner. We are the next Detroit. Not good for one of the state's traditional economic, educational, and health powerhouses.
