UPDATE: Madison Police identify suspect in Woodman's attack

UPDATED Thursday, September 5, 2013 --- 4:57 p.m.

Madison Police have identified a suspect after two women were punched at the Milwaukee St. Woodman's Saturday night.

Officers have developed probable cause to arrest 30-year-old Jared Abington.

Anyone seeing the suspect should call 911. He should be considered dangerous as these were unprovoked batteries.

Madison Police say a man punched two women in the face in a Woodman's parking lot.

The incident happened just after 10:45 Saturday night at the Milwaukee St. location.

The victims were about to walk into the store when a man tossed a grocery bag at them.

It had a gallon of milk in it. The jug burst after hitting one of the women's leg.

The man then punched each of the women in the face, sending them to the pavement.

Witnesses say the man was laughing as he ran away from the scene.

Police describe the suspect as: Male, black, 6', late 20's to early 30's, thin but muscular build, very short hair, wearing a light colored t-shirt and jeans.
