From NBC15's News Partner The Star:

The Sun Prairie Police Department on May 10 issued an alert about car break-ins occurring in Sun Prairie:

The Sun Prairie Police Department has seen a recent increase in theft from autos throughout the City. The thefts have been both from unlocked autos and forced entry into autos. We believe most of the thefts are occurring during the overnight hours.

Please call the Police Department immediately if you see any suspicious activity in your neighborhood - especially subjects walking late at night near autos. We also encourage citizens to lock your vehicles and remove all valuables at night.

If you have information to report that could help lead to an arrest in this crime/crime activity, please contact police at 608-837-7336.
