Beloit Police have identified the victim in Sunday morning's fatal shooting as Armando Lopez.

The shooting took place at 1221 Wisconsin Ave.

The suspect has been identified as Ezekiel “Chucky” Villa.

Police say they have probable cause to arrest Villa on 1st degree intentional homicide. Police also say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Beloit Police have identified a suspect in the shooting death of the South Beloit teenager.

The suspect has been identified as Ezekiel “Chucky” Villa. Police say they have probable cause to arrest Villa on 1st degree intentional homicide. Police also say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Villa is described as a 20-year-old Hispanic male. 5 foot 10 inches tall, weighing about 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. UPDATE Sunday, November 24, 2013 --- 9:58 a.m.

Beloit Police are investigating a shooting incident in the 1200 block of Wisconsin where a 19-year-old died from injuries.

Police say they responded to multiple reports of shots fired in the area of Keeler Ave. and Wisconsin Ave., located on Beloit's east side.

According to a release, while police were responding to shots fired calls, patrol officers discovered that a shooting had occurred at a residence in the 1200 block of Wisconsin Ave.

One male victim was found to be suffering life threatening injuries from the shooting.

Beloit Fire Department Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital. The 19 year old South Beloit man was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police say the release of the victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of family members.

Department investigators, evidence technicians, and drug and gang unit personnel have been working on the investigation since early this morning. Investigation has revealed that a party was occurring at the residence at the time of the shooting incident.

According to a release, there were a number of people in attendance at the time of the incident. The circumstances that led up to the shooting have not yet been determined.

Investigators and evidence technicians remain on the scene gathering evidence and speaking with anyone that may have information related to the incident.

The Rock County Coroner’s Office was notified of the death and is assisting in the investigation. A forensic autopsy will be scheduled as soon as possible.

Rock County Communications confirms a Sunday morning shooting.

911 calls came in around 1:38 a.m. Sunday morning reporting multiple shots fired.

NBC 15 is told one person was injured, however, the condition of that person in unknown.

The shooting happened in the 1200 block of Wisconsin in Beloit.

The Beloit Police Department is not releasing information at this time.
