From the Milton Police Department:
On August 20th at approximately 11:00am our agency took a subject into custody in relation to the July 3rd burglary which occurred at Milton High School.
A 16-year-old male was referred on charges of Burglary, Theft, and Criminal Damage to Property.
The initial investigation had revealed that stolen in the burglary were 2 Mac Notebook computers, and 2 digital scales.
The total damage to the building and loss of property totaled approximately $3500.00.
We are still investigating this matter, as other suspects were involved in the crime. Therefore, anybody with additional information is encouraged to contact our agency.
Individuals that come forward with information that leads to the arrest of others responsible for this crime are eligible for a cash reward through Janesville Area Crimestoppers.
