Teen Arrested: Allegedly Used Rock-Filled Sock To Attack Woman

Female, age 15, Madison
Teen was arrested for Substantial Battery.

Victim:
Female, age 21, Madison

Details:
A Madison teen was arrested for substantial battery Wednesday night after beating a woman with a sock filled with rocks.

The suspect and victim had been engaged in a verbal entanglement prior to the assault.

It took place at the intersection of W. Badger Rd. and Park St. shortly before 11:00 p.m.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of head injuries.

The suspect went to the Juvenile Reception Center.

    I dont think its the police to blame.Unless they were stalking this girl waiting for her to commit a crime, rather I think the parents are to blame. My kids would never even think to do something this violent! Unfortunately it is a low income neighborhood and SOME of these kids havent had the opportunity to be educated or maybe more serious she has not been loved by someone, which happens everywhere in the world. This was a terrible violet act and I hope she gets some help!

    Imagine that, ANOTHER crime committed in Park St area. Place is a dump and crime ridden. MAYBE if the Town of Madison police would actually drop their... donuts and do something, these things would not be so prevalent
