Three Men Arrested; Accused Of Stealing From Unlocked Vehicles In Beloit

Posted Tuesday, July 10, 2012 --- 7:20 a.m.

From the Beloit Police Department:

The Beloit Police Department responded to the area of McKinley & Roosevelt on 07/10/12 at 2:39 a.m. for a report of three white males entering unlocked vehicles parked on the street.

Two males were detained and then arrested after being positively identified.

A third was later located and arrested as well.

Two CD car stereo face plates were recovered.

The west side area from Hackett to Grant & Saint Lawrence to Portland was identified as being the area targeted by the suspects.

Up to 8 vehicles were identified as being entered by the suspects.

The Beloit Police Department needs your help in matching the recovered property with a victim & location.

The Beloit Police Department would also like to remind its citizens to not leave valuables in vehicles & in plain sight which can invite criminal behavior. Also don't forget to properly secure your cars!
