Two arrested after high speed chase in Madison

Monday April 21, 2014

MADISON, Wis.--- Madison police officers arrested two people after a chase through Madison Monday afternoon.

Police were looking for someone with an outstanding felony warrant that they believe was in a car. The chase began near the 2500 block of Chamberlin Ave. and continued on Madison's west side for several minutes, according to police.

The chase was called off when the driver went into the King James Way neighborhood in Fitchburg. People in that area called police saying the car had been abandoned.

Two people believed to be from that car were then arrested. Police say one of them is the person wanted for that felony warrant.
