Posted Thursday, January 30, 2014 --- 4:00 p.m.

UW-Madison Police are asking for the public's help in finding a person of interest in a theft and fraud case.

A woman's wallet went missing while she was at a UW Men's Hockey game on December 13th. She is not sure if the wallet fell out of her purse, or if it was taken.

When she went to cancel her credit cards the next day, she found out that several hundred dollars had been charged to her card from several different Madison-area stores.

UWPD looked through surveillance video and spotted a person of interest. Anyone with information on the man in the picture is asked to call UWPD at (608) 264-COPS.
