From the Rock County Sheriff's Office:
On Wednesday, 08-29-12 at 3:01am, Deputies from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office responded to an alleged vandalism to a residence in the 13000 block of W. Brandherm Rd. Dispatch was told that a paintball gun was possibly involved.
Upon arrival at the residence information was given that the suspect vehicle involved was currently being followed in the area of W. Beloit Newark Rd and S. CTH H.
A Deputy attempted to stop this suspect vehicle, on Beloit Newark near S. Knutson Rd, but the suspect vehicle fled from the Deputy.
The pursuit reached speeds of 80mph as the suspect vehicle drove southbound on S. STH 213 towards the City of Beloit, then westbound on W. Spring Creek Rd.
The pursuit was terminated, but not before Deputies were able to obtain the suspect vehicle’s registration plate.
The suspected driver, Samuel Timmons, 23yrs of age, of Beloit, was later arrested at his home for Knowingly Flee an Officer, Operating While Revoked, Failure to stop at a stop sign, and Disorderly Conduct. Timmons was booked in and released from the Rock County Jail, with a future court date.
"Pursuant to the directive of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6, Trial Publicly, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty."
