A Watertown man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for possessing child pornography.

32-year-old David Roehl received that sentence today in federal court. He'll serve it consecutively with a state prison term he's already serving for the same crime.

His federal prison term will be followed by 20 years of supervised release.

Roehl pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography in August of 2013.

The judge said Roehl had convictions for battery, disorderly conduct and 2nd degree sexual assault and was a risk to the community.
