VIDEO REPORT: Madison's West Side sees an Increase in Burglaries

Posted: Thursday, March 22, 2012 --- 10:32p.m.

Madison police say they've seen an increase in residential burglaries over the last two few weeks.

In February of this year, 20 burglaries were reported and in the first half of march 21 burglaries were reported .

Police say the warm weather could be a factor behind the slight spike in burglaries.
