A witness tells Madison Police that shots were fired during a road-rage incident.
The incident reportedly happened Sunday morning around 3:35 on Stoughton Road.
A 35-year-old Mount Horeb man was a passenger in a car being driven by a friend.
They were on their way back from the Dells, and the man believed they must have accidentally cut-off the driver of a SUV as they drove on Stoughton Rd.
He says he could see the angry driver fire several rounds from the driver's side window.
At the intersection with E. Washingtin Ave., the driver got out of the SUV and the man and his friend saw he had a handgun at his side. They called police as they sped off.
Police describe the alleged driver as: Male, black, 30's, 5'10", 200 pounds, short hair, goatee with other facial stubble, but no mustache, wearing dark clothing, and driving a dark colored SUV.
