Madison Police say witnesses took the keys away from a Madison man later arrested for his alleged 5th offense OWI.

Witnesses say a man parked and blocked the exit of a parking lot in the 2600 block of South Stoughton Road the afternoon of April 10th. They saw the driver get out and stagger around, so they took his keys and called police.

Responding officers could reportedly smell alcohol from more than five feet away.

They arrested 49-year-old Paul Borman.
