Mr. Armendarez III was arrested for 4th Degree Sexual Assault.

Victim:
Female, age 26, Middleton

Details:
A Middleton woman, looking for a room to rent, responded to a posting on Craigslist.

She started out texting with the man who was looking for a renter.

That led to a phone call.

During these communiqués information was shared, and at one point the 39-year old man requested the 26-year old woman send to him a photo of herself, which she did.

They then met at a restaurant, and the woman brought a friend, for security purposes.

Her impression was that he seemed to be on the up-and-up and a nice person.

She then went to the man's home last evening to inspect the room that was for rent.

While inside, the man groped the woman. She fled and contacted police. The suspect was arrested on a tentative charge of 4th Degree Sexual Assault.

The victim felt it important to report what happened, because she did not want other women to experience what she did.
