MADISON, Wis.--- a 74-year-old man has been arrested and charged with hitting a pedestrian while driving his car in Madison.
The crash happened at a crosswalk at the intersection of S. Blount and E. Washington.
Madison police say the driver did not yield to the pedestrian. The 50-year-old woman has a broken arm and was taken to the hospital to be treated.
The driver is charged with Failure to Yield to Pedestrian in Marked Crosswalk.
