UPDATE: Madison Police search for car after wallets stolen at cemetery

UPDATED Tuesday, May 13, 2014 --- 10:56 a.m.

Madison Police are looking for a vehicle seen at the Forest Hill Cemetery around the time a pair of wallets were stolen from two women last month.

The theft happened on April 26th around 4:45 p.m.

The women were visiting a family grave site and left their car unlocked. They returned to their vehicle to find their wallets gone.

Police are looking for a gold Cadillac seen in the area around that time.

Madison Police say a someone stole two women's wallets from an unlocked car while they were visiting a family grave site at the Forest Hill Cemetery.

The theft happened April 26th around 4:45 p.m.

After paying their respects, the women returned to their car and discovered that their wallets were gone.

They tell police they could not see their car while visiting the grave due to a hill.

One of their credit cards was later used to purchase gas at a University Ave. location.
