We now know who gets the credit for the recent mystery billboards poking fun at the Vikings' Randy Moss.
Last Monday, four billboards went up along Aberg Avenue on Madison's east side. One by one they focused on Moss's antics away from the game, and the fact he has no Super Bowl ring.
Monday marked the end of the guessing games, as the mystery sponsors of the billboards were finally revealed.
“We are getting emails here at our office from people who thought it was cool, Minnesota Vikings fans that hate it, its gotten coverage on all the television radio/stations up in the Twin Cities as well. So yea, it has definitely gotten a lot of response,” says WJJO sales manager Ben Armitage.
It turns out morning radio show hosts, Johnny Danger and Greg Bair from WJJO put up the billboards.
They say the idea was to get people talking, and that seemed to work.
The publicity reached all the way to Fox Sports, CNN, and ESPN.
The billboards will be up until February 20th.
