Icy Roads Blamed for Deadly Crash

Slippery conditions Monday morning are being blamed for a deadly crash in northern Dane County.

Just after 7:00 Monday morning, rescue crews were called to the crash on County V near County Highway C east of Deforest.

The Dane County Sheriff says a 64 year old Waterloo woman slid off the road and hit a power pole. She died at the scene.
