The Dane County Board of Supervisors passed the original ordinance Thursday that restricts where new adult entertainment centers can go up. That means strip clubs opened before the new ordinance can stay opened.
After what happened in Pine Bluff just a few days ago, when Kitt's Korner Bar opened up a strip club called "Hot Rods," supervisors expressed their concern about even waiting a day longer to pass the ordinance.
A few Cross Plains residents addressed the board prior to the vote, saying how unfortunate it is that supervisors took so long to pass it. Now they will have to live the consequences.
Supervisor Duane Gau says the board had to carefully craft the ordinance, so it can't be challened in court.
