A Wisconsin–based company is making the skies a little friendlier for one air carrier.
U.S. Airways says Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation has agreed to invest $125 million into the company. The carrier hopes the announcement will help spur commitments from additional investors.
In order to stay out of bankruptcy, the U.S. Airways needs $250 million by the end of June.
Air Wisconsin is a privately held regional airline which operates under the name United Express.
