Assembly Republicans also passed a bill they say will make Wisconsin elections fair and clean.
The Assembly just approved a bill that would require you to show an I.D. at the polls before you vote.
Some election observers have said voter fraud may have been a factor in the presidential election last fall.
The sponsor of the bill, Rep. Jeff Stone says this will make sure Wisconsin is in compliance with the Help America Vote Act.
"We have an obvious failure in our voting system. We have thousands of people in our voting system we can't identify. We don't know where they're from. You can come out in our current system and vote and disappear and we never have a record of who you are or where you live."
A similar bill was vetoed by Gov. Doyle last year.
This bill now moves to the Senate where they are expected to act on in sometime in March.
