Terry Ratzmann's mother told an investigator her son disagreed with Gurnee (Illinois) resident and Living Church of God pastor Randy Gregory before his deadly rampage.
Shirley Ratzmann told the investigator her son disagreed with Gregory after the Living Church of God split from another church a few years ago. Her statement was in a Waukesha County medical examiner's report released Thursday.
Police have said Ratzmann may have targeted Gregory's family at
the Brookfield hotel last Saturday. Seven people were killed and
four injured before he turned the gun on himself.
Funerals are being held Thursday night for Gregory and his 16-year-old
son, James. Gregory's wife was wounded and remains hospitalized.
Waukesha County district attorney Paul Bucher says it's not clear whether the Gregorys were targets.
