Ten people are dead and more than a dozen wounded after the nation's worst school shooting since the Columbine massacre in 1999.

It happened Monday afternoon on the Red Lake Indian Reservation, about 75 miles from the Canadian border.

Authorities say the student killed his grandparents and five people at the Red Lake high school, including a teacher and a security guard. Two others died later.

The gunman himself was also found shot to death.

Reports say the boy's grandfather was a police officer whose guns may have been used in the shootings.
