A UW–Madison professor makes his initial appearance in a Milwaukee county court today, after authorities say he tried to meet up with a 14–year old boy he met on the internet.
Comparative Literature professor Lewis Keith Cohen is charged in Milwaukee County with using a computer to facilitate a sex crime and child enticement.
A criminal complaint says Cohen admitted e–mailing naked photos of himself to the boy, but later told police he intended to act as a “big brother” to the boy.
Bond was set at $10,000 and Cohen had to hand over his passport.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 4th.
