Red was the new color for Easter this year. Especially at the Ballweg house in rural Columbia County.

There's a little more red decorating the house than usual.

Easter dinner is an annual tradition for the Ballweg family, and when the Badgers won Friday to set up a game against North Carolina, the day got a little sweeter.

Kurt Ballweg says, "The Badger game was kind of a second fiddle type thing. It was mostly just an Easter get together for the family. It worked out good that the Badgers ended up playing today."

Family matriarch Cathy Ballweg says Easter comes first, and she wasn't about to move dinner time. They would have had to eat and watch at the same time. "We got it done in time, the 1:40 tip-off time worked out good."

With t.v.'s placed strategically throughout the house, Kurt is prepared for a game with no distractions. "We can scatter them out. The half fans in there, the no fans down there, and the true fans right here."

And just to get everybody ready for the game, there was a visit from the Easter Badger... make that the Easter Bunny.

Back inside, the Ballwegs moved into position for the game.
"I claimed this early. You have to or I would have lost this good chair."
"I don't have a chair claimed. If somebody's in my way I'll make them move."
