A bizarre incident in Kenosha overnight leads to the death of a 31-year-old Wisconsin man.

Police shot and killed the man when they say he was trying to kill his own five-year-old child.

It started with a report that a naked man with three naked children were trying to flag down cars at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Police say the man put what looked like scissors to the neck of his 14-month-old daughter, and then tried twisting the neck of another child.

Sgt. Ron Bartholomew of the Kenosha Police Department reports, "He grabbed the five-year-old boy by the head and he angrily and with force twisted the boy's head with enough force to make the boy go limp."

After the boy fell to the side, the suspect went to reach for the boy once again. That's when police opened fire, shooting the man nine times.

The five-year-old child later told police his father had a fight with his girlfriend, smoked marijuana, and then drank a large amount of shampoo before taking his naked children outside.

The children suffered some injuries, but did not need hospitalization. They are in protective custody this Tuesday.
