Authorities in Campbell are chipping and thawing ice from a freezer they believe contains the remains of a woman.
The freezer was removed from a home outside La Crosse Sunday, after officials say Philip Schuth told them during a standoff that his mother's body was inside of it.
After he surrendered early Saturday, investigators chipped some of the ice away until they found a human leg.
Once the body is removed, authorities say they will take it to a forensics lab for an autopsy.
