Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk says supporters are urging her to run for attorney general next year, including Governor Doyle.
But Falk says she hasn't yet made a decision on what could be a hard-fought Democratic primary against incumbent Peg Lautenschlager.
Despite a drunken driving conviction, Lautenschlager has indicated she'll run for re-election.
Falk was just elected to a third, four-year term as county executive.
