Charges are pending against a Janesville man who held police at bay for several hours early Sunday morning.
Authorities say they responded to a report of an armed, suicidal man on Ridge Creek Drive around 4:30 a.m.
Officers determined 25-year-old Christopher Keepers was intoxicated and exhibiting wide mood swings.
The Rock County Sheriff's Department's Tactical Unit assisted the Janesville Police Department's Emergency Response Team in convincing Keepers to come outside.
He was taken into custody without incident.
