There was a change of command ceremony held Friday morning at Fort McCoy.
Col. Derek Sentinela took command of Fort McCoy this Friday. He comes to the base from Washington, where he served at the Pentagon.
And that's where outgoing Commander Danny Nobles is heading. Nobles, who took over command of Fort McCoy just two years ago, is on his way to the Pentagon for his new assignment.
As for Sentinella, he says serving in positions in this country and overseas has prepared him for the command post at Fort McCoy.
