The Milwaukee Public Museum will have to look for a new leader.

Amid budget troubles, current president Michael Stafford resigned this morning.
His email to staff said that the recent publicity and criticism have hurt his ability to lead.
Museum board Chairman David Meissner says Stafford had nothing to do with the current budget controversy.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported the museum has a seven million dollar budget deficit.
