Another Wisconsin soldier has apparently died in Iraq.
The father of a 21-year-old Army tank driver who joined the military to get experience driving big equipment says his son is the latest to die there.
His father says Eric Poelman of Racine was on his second tour of duty and two weeks away from a planned visit home when he was killed Sunday.
Poelman's parents moved to Longview, Texas about a year ago. They say they're awaiting word from the military on exactly what happened.
Matt Poelman says he and his wife talked with their son just Saturday, and now he's grateful they had the chance.
He says his son joined the Army in January 2003, spent five months in Iraq in 2003 and was redeployed for another tour of duty in March.
Eric Poelman also leaves behind a wife.
