Eager residents gathered to break ground at the site of the new Verona Public Library Tuesday.
The site is located on Enterprise Road near the intersection of Silence Street. The Verona Board of Trustees approved the construction of the new library, which is a project greatly supported by those in the community.
The library board president says the new library will provide more space for community meetings and will allow the children to learn and interact in a safe, welcoming environment.
