A different kind of parade has people parading through area homes today.
Madison's Parade of homes features 32 homes by 32 builders at four sites giving potential home buyers and builders a chance to witness new trends and to consider the possibilities.
The parade isn't just for future owners as those interested in remodeling and decorating also attend.
Area builder, Tom Zimmer, says the event provides an opportunity to look into his potential future. Tom Zimmer is exhibiting a house in the Parade of Homes and he says "for me its really an opportunity to meet customers for next year. You can talk to them see them one on one and show them what you're all about."
